Yep!... that would be nice to really speak English right there . That reminds me a time when the web , even in France , was only in English ... May be 'cause the first provider was AOL (America On Line) .. In thoses times I met many people from USa .. New York , Chicago , LOs angeles , Sausalito , Albuquerque , Buffalo ..; and I spent most of my time chatting on Aol messenger . I really had some good chats there. Some of those people came in France , and i met some others in Manhattan and Huntington ... I hope to be back in USA soon or later ....

May be you could come with us, the 9 of march From 7 P.M. to 11 P.M. to Twin Tea Wine In Bordeaux, as they have an AfterWork in english with many english and american etc... people coming for talking ans drinking wine....

In fact the bowling, you can play it each week in 3 places...

The after work in English is only once a month at the Twin tea wine bar!!!!

So if you pass this turn... You will have to wait a month to have a second chance...

You may also come early, just for a drink and see the place and the people, and live in time for "the lac"....

As you like.... Remember, I have to give you one euro back for the badge... I stop the making of them for the moment....

PS : the men who sell bowling balls (from Tarbes) is coming tomorrow in Mérignac from 2 p.m. till 10 p.m.

I've learn my english in the Canadien Forces. When I join in 1969, I did not speak english. They gave me a 6 month cours. Then they send me to saskachewan. I was the only French speaking on the hole base, so I had no choice to learn english.

Bowling was one of the things we did outside work. We were playing 5 pins. There is one pin that is worth 5 points 2 pins are worth 3 points and 2 pins are worth 2 points. A perfect game is 300. I had and avarage of 190, wich is average.

But if you drink befor you play bowling, it's possible that your score will go down.

The best score is also 300.... But I've just see one man did it one time, while a match of league few years ago...
And it was againts the team of my husband and me.

And to ratify this score very infrequent, whe had to wait untill an arbitrator of the french federation, comes and it was 1 am... when we have made all the papers for it...
Well, the bowling manager offer champagne to us, but... We loose the match of course!!!!
